You read that right…I am now a pilot!
I have always wondered what those things in the sky were that everyone keeps pointing to. People keep pointing up in the sky and say “Aeroplane”, I have no idea what I am looking at, but that doesn’t stop me being excited about it.
So this week I was taken up close and personal to one of these so called “aeroplanes”. Near where my Nanna and Daft Grandad live, there is a little field where the aeroplanes live. The aeroplanes have houses that they sleep in at night. They have big long road in front of their houses. My mind was blown when I saw one of the aeroplanes come out of the sky. It then drove along its road and stopped near me, I know it sounds crazy, but it was in the clouds I promise!
I was even more astonished when a man got out of it. Apparently his name is pilot.
Pilot saw how excited I was about his aeroplane and invited me to come and have a look. Now I have seen my fair share of crazy stuff now that I am 2 years old, but I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Completely in my element, I was too excited to pay attention to everything Pilot was saying. I am pretty sure that he said I am now ready to drive his aeroplane. I have practiced driving on my scuttle bug at home for a while now, so I am pretty sure I can handle it.
Unfortunately though, it was time to go home. No time was left to go into the clouds. The aeroplane had to go in to his house and go to sleep. I now make sure that I wave at Pilot every time he goes past me in the clouds, he must be very busy as I see him all the time!
(I was later told that his name isn’t pilot, and that it is just his job title, which was rather embarrassing for all involved).
So that is this week’s diary entry, I am sure you agree that this week has been very exciting I am already looking forward to what next week has in store!
…oh, I also have some new sunglasses. I look fabulous don’t I?
