Have you all missed me? I have had a little two week break from my diary writing, so I hope you all found something else to do with your time. But worry not, I have returned and will update you with all that has gone on over these last two weeks!
Poorly Ears
Unfortunately, these last two weeks have not all been filled with fun and games. I have been struck down with a horrible cold. I don’t understand why everyone calls it a cold, as I just felt really hot the entire time. They should just call it a “hot” and stop confusing people.
The worst part of catching a “hot”, is that it made my ears hurt…a lot. I couldn’t sleep as my hurting ear would wake me up all the time. As a result, my Mammy and Daddy would have to come into my room and give me medicine through the night. Thankfully, the medicine worked and I would fall back asleep.
Due to the disruption to my sleep, I would have a lie in and wake up at 6:30am, rather than 6am. Even though I was kind enough to have a lie in and let my Mammy and Daddy sleep longer too, they would still be all tired and grumpy when I start screaming their name at 6:30am. They are so ungrateful.
Nursery Update
Those who are up to date with my diary entries will know that I have now entered the world of nursery. In my early days at nursery I got to know my surroundings and enjoyed the new games and activities that were in front of me. Nowadays, I am more settled in and comfortable in my new nursery surroundings.
However, there have been a few minor incidents in these early weeks. I may have accidently lashed out slightly at some of my friends in the nursery. However, in my defence…I had my reasons.

The first incident happened because I was playing with a toy. I was innocently playing in my own little world, when suddenly, another little girl came up to me and tried to take my toy off me. I was having none of it! So, I may have ever so slightly, lashed out and hit her arm.
The second time, I was sat playing on the floor when somebody stood on my fingers. Again, I may have slightly tapped their leg a little bit with my hand in retaliation. I can’t let such disrespect slide so easily!
Unfortunately, my Mammy and Daddy didn’t see it the same way I did. As a result, I had to endure their lecture on why we don’t hit other people and why we use kind words and kind hands. Guess what Mammy and Daddy…speak to the hand, because the face ain’t listening!
Center Parcs #3
My final update is on a little holiday we have all just been on. I bet you can’t guess where? Of course you can, I have written it just above. We went to Center Parcs for a long weekend with my Mammy and Daddy’s friends and their little boy. You may have noticed that we keep going back to Center Parcs, well this is because I like it so much. There are just so many activities for me to do!
It was nice that we went with friends this time, as we were able to do lots of activities together. This time, I got to go swimming (my favourite activity to do), I went to Mucky Pups (a big messy play session), made some pottery (I made a dog and painted it) and had my face painted (I turned into a fox, see the photo, that is actually me and not a real fox!).
The only downside of our holidays, is that they just go by so quickly. The days came and went too soon. I don’t like that feeling of leaving holidays, I feel like we need to book another one so I have something to look forward to. Surely it makes sense to just keep going on holiday every week? I may float this idea with Mammy and Daddy and see what they think.
Anyway, it is back to the usual day to day grind for me now. *Sigh*…I wish I was a fox again.
